A Romantic Engagement Session at Longwood Gardens, PA

There is something so special about an engagement session. It gives couples the chance to slow down, spend time together, and celebrate this exciting season before their wedding day. Ashley and Jack’s Longwood Gardens engagement session was the perfect combination of romance, beautiful scenery, and genuine moments together. Longwood Gardens is one of the most beautiful locations for engagement photos in the area. With colorful gardens, lush greenery, elegant architecture, and peaceful pathways, there is no shortage of stunning backdrops. For Ashley and Jack, every part of the gardens gave us something different to work with while keeping their photos natural, romantic, and timeless.

A Romantic Longwood Gardens Engagement Session

One of my favorite things about photographing engagement sessions is getting to know my couples outside of their wedding day. Without a wedding timeline or a packed schedule to follow, there is more room to slow down and simply enjoy being together.

Ashley and Jack spent their session laughing, exploring the gardens, and enjoying this season of being engaged. Those genuine interactions are exactly what I love capturing. While classic portraits are an important part of every engagement gallery, some of my favorite photographs are the moments in between: the laughs, the movement, the quiet moments, and the way a couple naturally looks at one another.

Longwood Gardens made it easy to create a gallery filled with variety. We moved through different areas of the property, taking advantage of the gardens, greenery, architecture, and beautiful natural light. Each location offered a slightly different feel while still keeping their engagement photos cohesive and timeless.
